21km Run for Children with Cancer

Richard Hall is fundraising for PERTUBUHAN AMAL NASIONAL 1MALAYISA

I'm running in the PJ Half Marathon on the 23rd of July 2017 and I will be using the opportunity to raise funds for children with cancer in combination with the local Malaysian Give charity and the Nielsen Cares corporate responsibility program. All money will be used with low income families who have children undergoing cancer treatments in KL hospitals. All money spent will be personally overseen by myself. Please give generously as these children and their families really need our help. Thank you for your generosity.

My Story

Both the Give charity and Nielsen Cares have been visiting children in various cancer wards around KL for the last few years.  We distribute toys, games, colouring books, sweet treats and some treat food, usually pizzas or KFC!  We also supply toiletry supplies and living essentials for the family as they usually stay in the hospital with their children when they are receiving treatment, sleeping next to the hospital bed and constantly being with their loved ones.  They often need to give up work to be in the hospital and many times have no other income to support them.

What we do only helps a little but every little helps and the smiles of the children and strength of spirit shown by the families alway makes every trip worthwhile.
