Dear Friends, I'm so excited for this once in the lifetime opportunity to climb Mt Everest Advance Base Camp (6600m) in Tibet and also the Mt. Aconcagua (6,960.8m) in Argentina! I have always wanted to do something significant to be able to make a difference in people's lives and raise funds to help support Calvaryland's works in the community. When I came to know about SimplyGiving.com, I'm so thrilled and excited to find such a user friendly and yet secure online fundraising platform. Through SimplyGiving.com, you can make safe and secure donations to support this cause. Using this given platform is really simple and most importantly it's also a really cost efficient way for the charity to raise funds. My page allows you to follow my progress; share it with friends; voice encouragement or even join me and get involved yourself by doing a personal challenge by being a fundraiser. Beginning 13 September 2013, I will be embarking to climb up to the Mt Everest Advance Base Camp. Following this challenge, I'm also attempting the tough feat to climb and scale the heights of Mt Aconcagua (in Argentina) on January 2014! All for the worthy cause of helping raise funds for Calvaryland, so they can get a microbus (minimum 14-seater) to transport their elderly residents for medical treatments and the children in Calvaryland for classes, study trips and extra-curricular activities. Through previous online fundraising efforts via SimplyGiving.com, as well as offline donations, we have managed to raise RM24,100 thus far. Help us reach our goal of RM100,000 to purchase a microbus (minimum 14-seater). We need your partnership and help to raise the balance RM76,000 to purchase this vehicle.
