Hi Everyone, thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page. On May 16, I will be taking part in Coca-Cola LONG RUN 2014 aiming to raise money for Care Society. Care Society is an NGO in the Maldives that aims to address the needs of the disabled. Its work includes creating awareness, conducting training programs on disability management, conducting community based rehabilitation for people with disabilities and operating the Care Development Center. Care Development Center (CDC) is the only private school for children with disabilities in the Maldives. It caters for those children who do not have a chance to enroll in the public school system. Throughout the past couple of years, CDC has faced significant funding constraints and have continually been on the verge of shutting down. Even at the moment, the school operates from month to month. Every dollar counts. Through simplygiving.com you can make safe and secure donations to sponsor me.
