Hello everybody!🤗 We are a group of accounting students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Penang. We are currently studying in Diploma in Accounting, Year 1, Semester 3 (DAC7). We are conducting an online fundraising event for Penang Animal Welfare Society (4PAWS). 4PAWS is a non-profit organization founded by Barbara Janssen, an animal lover with a heart of gold💛, which began in July 2011 and aims to provide a home for street dogs in Penang where they are able to provide the basic needs until they are adopted. All donations made will go to 4PAWS with the intention of helping our pawpals 🐾 to have safe shelter, food, medicine and proper care during this trying times🐶. Allow us to introduce ourselves --We are students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (Penang Branch Campus) currently studying for Diploma in Accounting, Group 1, Year 1 Semester 3. We are representing the Penang Animal Welfare Society (4PAWS) to create a fundraising event to help the dogs in this animal shelter. It is a loving society that provides a safe shelter for approximately 620 freely roaming dogs with sufficient food, water, and care. The main goal of this fundraising event is to help 4PAWS to raise funds so that they are capable of providing a more conducive environment for the strays and ensure that they receive proper medical treatment and sufficient basic resources. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this fundraising event will be carried out virtually and we have set our target fund at RM 1,200. Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated and the donations are designated exclusively to the Penang Animal Welfare Society. Hi There! We are a group of Diploma in Business Administration(DBU) Year 1 Sem 3 students from TARC College Penang branch and our team name is Paws Protection Squad. In recent years, the abandonment of dogs has been an alarming issue. Especially in these trying times where owners face financial issues and resort to calling shelters to offer their beloved dogs. And thus, we are hosting an online fundraising project to support the rescued strays in 4PAWS, which is a great opportunity to change the dogs’ world in this Covid-19 pandemic. We are looking to raise RM1000 to complete this project. However, it would be great if we could reach further than our current stretch goal with your help. The animals that are waiting for our help, and we are only able to save them because of loving people like you. We hope that by contributing some of our strength, we will be able to assist these stray canines.

This event is organized by DFT1S3G4 and we are having a charity fund event of civic consciousness and volunteerism course. The purpose of this event is to help the organization that keeps the stray animals and helps them to reduce some burden in the field of resources and finances. The targeted organization is 4PAWS, Penang Welfare Animal Society from Butterworth, Penang. It is a society that is full of love, giving about 650 stray dogs a safe shelter that is having enough food, water, and care. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is hard to raise funds with society so we set our class' target fund as RM1000 and try our best to raise more funds and help to reduce the economic burden that is very heavy. After having a conversation with the principal of the 4PAWS, Penang Welfare Animal Society, Miss Barbara. She told us that every month they need about RM35,000 to pay the bills, medical expenses of the stray dogs, and some maintenance fees. So, these are the reasons we decided to lend a helping hand to them to pass through this pandemic.

As we know, many dogs are abandoned by their owners because they are old or their owners are not able to take care of them. In our country, we often see stray dogs, usually these stray dogs have nothing to eat. Therefore, we decided to organize a fundraising event to collect donations for the animal welfare society named "Penang Animal Welfare Society" to provide financial support. It is a Malaysian society that provides shelter and care for stray dogs. As the covid-19 pandemic is ravaging throughout the world like wildfire, the donations from the people to this animal welfare society have been greatly reduced. As a result, their financial ability faces a big problem, which means that they have lost the ability to feed and care for the dogs. This is because, Penang Animal Welfare Society has adopted more than 600 dogs so that the daily cost of dog foods is huge and they need a lot of money to purchase the dog foods.All the donations are going to Penang Animal Welfare Society through this donation platform called "Disanprot" to ensure that all the dogs have enough food supply during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our initial target amount is to reach RM1500 but it would be better for Penang Animal Welfare Society if we could achieve higher donations. Lastly, we welcome any amount. Even if there is RM10 per donation, it can make the dogs have food to eat without being hungry. Together we fund, your kindness is much appreciated. Let us contribute to stray dogs and the world together !!

Hi, we are from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Penang branch. Our team name Save a pet's life. We are looking to raise MYR 3000 to complete the project. We're going to start this fundraising event because now not even Malaysia but the world are fight with Covid-19. Many people already stay at home, work from home. So, when these things happened, many stray dogs face a series of problems such as food problem. Also, The stray dog agency has also been facing funding problems as a matter of current movement control orders. We hope that we can contribute some of our strength to help these stray dogs.
