Hi, my name is Oon Feng. I am currently serving full-time in the youth and campus ministry at Georgetown Baptist Church, Penang, Malaysia. My passion is to work with young people of diverse backgrounds. I recently got accepted to Duke University to pursue Master of Divinity with a concentration of prison and youth ministry. Following graduation at Duke, I hope to be able to work with young people from all walks of life, especially troubled youth.

It has always been my desire to pursue a theological education to be better equipped for ministry purposes. Although it has been my dream for many years to pursue a theological degree at Duke, I was never bold enough to apply for admission knowing the highly competitive admission rate and my own financial limitation. Last November, I finally picked up the courage to trust God and apply to Duke. By God's grace, it is truly a blessing and an honour to be accepted to the prestigious Duke University.

Now that God has fulfilled part of my dream in granting me admission to Duke, I am trusting God once again to fulfil the rest of it in Funding My Education. Praise be to God I have been awarded the Ministerial Promise Scholarship by Duke Divinity School covering 33% of the tuition for my first year and 25% of the tuition for my second and third year. However, I am still far off from being able to afford the rest of my tuition fees and other expenses. I am trusting God to raise the total estimated tuition and expenses of USD120,000 or MYR500,000 for 3 years after the scholarship deduction.Hence, I would like to reach out to you to go on this journey of faith with me as I pursue my 3 year Master of Divinity program, at Duke University. Would you prayerfully consider coming alongside to partner with me in prayer and in financial support as I trust God in fulfilling His will in my life in full-time ministry?
