Liew Kit Siong, 35 years old Sarawakian, is currently battling a severe medical condition that has left him hospitalised in ICU and in need of specialised treatment. He is at Piyavate hospital in Bangkok, where he had been for work purposes. He is now in an unconscious state, where the brain has been invaded by an infection.
The estimated cost of treatment for 21 days is around RM140k. With zero insurance coverage and inadequate personal resources, Liew family finds themselves faced with a daunting financial hurdle that threatens their ability to access crucial medical interventions.
