We are the students from Diploma in Accounting(DAC) Group1 and Diploma in Business Administration (DBU),Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) Johor Branch. The main purpose of this online crowdfunding project is to help more needy people from different groups such as people who have physical disabilities, single parent, orphanage, homeless people and more. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these groups faced big challenges in getting funds from public. Some organisations nearly cannot survive due to the unstable source of income. Therefore, we hope that this online crowdfunding project will ease the burden of the welfare organisation. Based to the instructions of the online crowdfunding project, we have already selected a group of people who have physical disabilities as our beneficiaries. The welfare organization that we choose is known as‘Persatuan Kebajikan Orang Istimewa Segamat’, which is located at 53, Jalan Seroja, Taman Segamat Baru, 85000 Segamat, Johor. After we discussed with the Finance Committee, we decided to set our target funds at a minimum amount of RM2000. The funds collected will used for the purpose like repair and maintain the outside compound of the centre, to purchase some racks to be placed in their storeroom so that they can keep their things well, to buy more foods to continue their daily lives and some cushions for their sofa set.
