Team Timor Singapore is fundraising for Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong

The Tour de Timor is an international mountain bike race, held in stages in Timor Leste. Famed for grueling climbs over 5 consecutive days, Team Timor will take on the Challenge with the hope to a raise as much money as possible for the People of Nepal.All the fund will go to Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild Nepal post the earthquake.

My Story

Timor-Leste - also known as East Timor - is a small country in South East Asia, Located about  1 hour flight from Darwin, Australia and from Bali, Indonesia.

Roads across Timor-Leste vary from smooth modern bitumen roads, gravel mixes to dirt and mountain bike tracks. Roads from the capital and along the coast are general wide and flat, rising to meandering mountain roads as the course winds its way around the country’s mountainous spine. Cyclists mus beware of the odd spectacular pothole and mountain bikes are a must for this race!

With all the team members only getting a mountain bike this year, this will be a serious challenge. Tour de Timoe is a 5-day race: Total 395km , total climbing 8272 m. Plus we get to camp on the side of th mountain after a tough days climb.

 But it will be all worth it if we can raise our target for this special charity.
