TAILS Lantau is a non-profit society based in Lantau, Hong Kong, which offers support, nurture, treatment, foster and adoption to animals who have been surrendered, abandoned, neglected, abused or injured.
February is a very special month for the TAILS team as it is our director Esslin Terrighena's birthday. Outside of her "day job", Esslin spends her after-work hours tirelessly helping animals in need, coordinating vet visits and medical care, nurturing traumatized animals, raising puppies, and tending to our rescue animals' daily needs. In order to celebrate her great work and dedication, we would like to make all her birthday wishes come true this month!
Our goal is to raise HK$30,000 in honour of Esslin's 30th birthday to help us cover our medical costs, daily care costs, and transport costs. Saving pups and kittens is expensive work - and we never want to turn an animal away just because we cannot afford their care. Any donations, no matter how big or small, will go a long way towards improving the lives of all animals on Lantau island.
