I have been running a Son-Rise Program at home for the past 9 months after attending Son-Rise Start-Up 5-Days Training in Dalat, Vietnam last year with my husband. At that time, I would say that I was a desperate mom looking for the best help for my 10 years old autistic daughter, Erina. Of all past therapies, school and interventions prior to Son-Rise that Erina had, never give me satisfaction in terms of her progress especially in social communication and behavior challenges she showed. She was aggressive back then at the age of 8 years old and I totally lost control in managing such behavior! I would say that most of my days filled with tears and felt so hopeless.
Once my husband and I came back from The Son-Rise Program Start-Up last year, I totally feel I am a brand new mom who now has been empowered with practical techniques to kick-start with my daughter at home right away! I am able to focus on her since I put a stop of my 12 years career in the banking field. Her progress now is very encouraging, she has no trace of aggressive behavior and tantrum or meltdown because she’s now a happier child, she gives more smiles, hugs and kisses towards me all the time! She cares about my whereabouts and even says “Mama, I want you!” spontaneously unlike those past 3 years where she didn’t even have the tendency to have eye contact with me. She can cope with outdoor activities like going out at eatery places at the shopping mall with the whole family and when we out, she showed her hands for me to hold her and enjoy going to the park to play swings at the playground every evening with her younger brother. Her motivation towards self-learning increased over time and I feel so happy with her self-confidence. She finally able to ask for poop whenever she has the urge unlike before, she reluctant to go and informed me about her discomforts.
Now after seeing all these positive changes in her, I am so determined and desperate to play catch-up by helping Erina to go through school phases like other normal children by learning more in-depth on how to increase my skills and knowledge in managing Erina’s social development through The Son-Rise Program Maximum Impact which will be taught by Autism Treatment Center of America (ATCA) Senior Teachers in Malaysia from 21st to 25th of November 2019! This program will help me to deepen my understanding of Autism and give me expert guidance to make my foundation Son-Rise Program more effective and successful. My precious takeaways will be more tools, more solutions, and more inspirational to help Erina to new heights. I feel so lucky to have the program been taught here in my home country - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and I don’t want to miss this golden opportunity. The amount of money raised today will be used for my expenses for the 5-Days intensive training and below is the details:
1- The Son-Rise Program Maximum Impact Fee - USD2,200 for 5-days
2- Meals (covers breakfast and lunch) - USD100 for 5-day (since I do not opt for staying in the hotel)
I have to include the meals expenses above due to the rules draw by ATCA for participants need to be on-time to all classes during the 5-Days training and to dine-in at the same hotel is the best option as they are going to imposed strict rules for the late-comers as the training schedule is really tight from 9 am until 6 pm and only break for lunch hour. Therefore, I would only need to raise a total of USD2,300 prior to the course date at least by November 15, 2019, so I will not miss the registration. However, there are other expenses that I have been able to handle so far and my other expenses details are as follows:
1- Accommodation fee - USD180 for 5-nights
2- Transportation fees - USD50 for 5 days
3- Day Care fees for my 3 kids at home - USD180 for 5-days
