Spanning over the course of more than 50 years, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT) has been regarded by many as the premier private learning institution in Malaysia since its establishment as a college back in 1969. Since its inception, the University has dedicated itself to giving back to the community through affordable education as well as various community projects.

Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Health Awareness Community Campaign.

This semester, TARUMT Kuala Lumpur Branch students who are taking psychology and counseling courses will be organizing a Health Awareness Community Campaign with the theme "Sow Health, Reap Happiness". This community campaign is a comprehensive mental and physical health awareness initiative aimed at promoting holistic well-being.

It seeks to educate students and staff about mental and physical health issues, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversation about mental and physical well-being. By raising awareness, the campaign aims to empower individuals to prioritize their mental and physical health and seek help when needed.

Event Date: 13 September 2023 (Wednesday)
Time: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Venue: Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman

The online fundraising campaign will be held from mid-July to early September 2023 to raise funds to support the expenses of our community campaign. 
Following the deduction of operational costs, any surplus funds will be directed to the "Mental Illness Awareness & Support Association" to support their vital work in raising awareness and providing assistance to the community.
