Lets help each other as a team to fight the Corona virus by donating more Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the frontliners.Thousands of PPEs needed every month to supply the hospitals, clinics, and quarantine sites in Malaysia. Due to the shortage of supplies and many requests from major hospitals, we need your support to join the force together to increase our production output.
I am a tailor, and during this critical time I've set up a team from friends and family members to carry out in house production of PPE set from material contributed by individuals. I started doing this without any charge, just to make sure that we can help to turn the material into end product. However, as the demand of the supply of PPE getting higher and more material needs to be cut and sew, I just can't do it alone without financial support.
As a team we have been producing 80 to 100 PPE sets a day, constantly. Our last production was sent to Bahagian Pengurusan Jenazah Hospital Putrajaya, Hospital Tunku Zahirah Kuala Terengganu and Hospital Tunku Jaafar Negeri Sembilan.
In early May 2020, we will receive another 6000 to 7000 meters of non-woven fabric to produce another 3000 sets. All the PPE suit will be distributed to many hospitals and clinics with shortage of supplies.
We need more PPE as they will be more Covid test to be conducted too as part of the KKM plan to stop the spread of this virus.
For this project, we target the sum of RM70,000.00 to be collected for the supply of about 3000 PPE set to the front liner, the fund will go to:
1) Seamstress and volunteers.
Tailoring RM17. 50 X 3000pcs = RM52,500 2) Incentives to workers who previously work voluntarily.
