My Story

Hello there! I am Janina Patricia Sarmiento, an authorized volunteer fundraiser of UNICEF Philippines.

We are well aware that COVID-19 has caused much harm to our beloved nation, the Republic of the Philippines. We all want to put an end to this pandemic as soon as possible so that we could all rise from the setbacks it has caused us and do better than our "former normal". I believe that we, the resilient Filipinos, can overcome this battle by working together to help provide proper protection and equipment to our frontliners. In light of this, I am humbly knocking at the door of your hearts by inviting you to join our simple fundraising campaign.

UNICEF is working with the Department of Health and the World Health Organization to provide critical medical and sanitation supplies for hospitals and health facilities.

All donations made through this platform will go directly to UNICEF Philippines' Bank Account remitted automatically by simplygiving. Please do check out other past campaigns via this site such as Anne Curtis various appeals, etc. —This appeal is real and not bogus.

Your donation can help provide hygiene and disinfection supplies such as soaps, water dispensers, and cleaning supplies in hospitals.

1,000php - Personal Protective Equipment
Your donation can help provide personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks, goggles and overalls to a health worker in a hospital.

2,000php - UNICEF Tents
Your donation can contribute to providing UNICEF tents for triage at hospitals.
