Join the Challenge One Step at a time! “Cancer Can Be Prevented” is the theme for this year for UICC’s (Union for International Cancer Control) World Cancer Day. With this in mind, we have gathered a group of caring individuals together to give support to cancer patients who are surviving cancer every day, every hour and every minute. Join me and my friends in the battle against cancer, help us spread awareness that Cancer Can Be Prevented in our crusade against disease by our maiden climb to Everest Base Camp. Staying healthy is definitely a step towards prevention. Although the climb may pose strenuous challenges, the physical act of reaching the height of 5,455 meters is only a fraction of what cancer patients truly undergo in struggling with their ordeal. Join the Challenge One Step at a time because the Harder the Challenge, The More Glorious the Triumph reflects the struggle a cancer patient endures during treatment and even when against all odds, he or she still beats cancer triumphantly. In spirit, our climb is very much similar to this analogy. Join us, donate now! Help us raise RM100,000. Your donation will go a long way in helping a patient in his/her quest in the battle for survival. RM100,000 will help: 20 patients with 6 months supply of Enercal Plus Liquid Food to gain strength in recovering during cancer treatment. Or 30 patients with Surgical Equipment - Esophageal Stent (a tube placed in the esophagus to keep a blocked area open so that patient can swallow soft food and liquids e.g. Enercal Plus). Or 34 patients receive 1 year financial assistance. This will aid poor patients monthly for a period of a year to go to hospital for treatment (transport and daily expense at hospital).
