As Hong Kong faces an economic downturn, many families are struggling with job cuts and unemployment. This situation is particularly challenging for low-income families, making it difficult for parents to meet their children's basic needs.

In May 2024, Changing Young Lives celebrated a significant milestone by relocating to a new center at Pak Tin Estate in Shek Kip Mei. With the influx of new tenants into this revitalized community, our daily and weekly attendance has soared from 700 to 2,000 children. Unfortunately, as our reach expands, we are facing a reduction in sponsorship for our signature Empower Program. This program is essential for providing our beneficiaries with access to extracurricular classes and daily tutorials—services that are vital for families with limited educational backgrounds.
