Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022 - Christof's Fundraiser is fundraising for GGHK Ltd.

My Story

This fundraiser is intended to jumpstart the organization of the Gay Games 11 in Hong Kong 2022. All funds raided go to the general budget of GGHK Ltd. and help cover vital expenses the volunteer team incurs to get started.
I was competing in the Gay Games 10 in Paris 2018, and I have seen first hand what positive effect of inclusion in diversity a massive international sports event with over 10,000 athletes can make for the LGBTQ+ communities.
In 2022, the project gets even bolder: It's the first time the Gay Games, which started in 1982 in my other home town, San Francisco, come to Asia, to my newly chosen second home town Hong Kong -- and closer to many societies which will benefit massively from the visibility of this event. Only recently, Taiwan was the first country to legalize same-sex marriage and there is still plenty of countries in the regions, which criminalize LGBT, including Singapore and many others.
I will not only compete, but also contribute to the success game as the Director of Fundraising
