My Story
Our native place Thopputhurai is situated in the Vedaranyam
Taluk of Nagapattinam District, State of
Tamilnadu(South India), whereof recent had been devastated by Cyclone GAJA on
15th November 2018, resulted in the death of at least 33 people.
Thopputhurai & Surrounding villages are in ruins now,
with no electricity, water supplies and less supply of food . The more
unfortunate even lost their homes as their huts were destroyed and their
personal effects are gone. These people are currently put up at public shelters
such as schools and communal buildings, surviving without any government aid,
and extremely poor living conditions. The media had also not reported massively
regarding this so major humanitarian organizations are not aware of this.
During these difficult times, our native people are
desperately in need of your support for survival. Please donate as much you
can.
