There is hardly a day that goes past without news coverage of the environmental problems faced by the planet. Climate change, pollution, loss of biodiversity etc. are issues that affect us all: they will affect future generations much more seriously. While Singapore is a relatively clean and green country, the environment is under threat in many ways, and to keep this island clean and green requires that we all step up to the challenge. The time to act is now, but what effect can our own small efforts have on these global problems?
We can Walk-the-World (WTW) for the World!
On 15th April 2019, over 200 Informa colleagues in Singapore will be working together to clean a section of Singapore’s coastline in an effort to Walk the World for the World.
Each year, the WTW initiative encourages Informa colleagues in all locations to spend time together outside the office, to have fun and to raise money for local charities. This year we are teaming up with WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) to organize a beach clean-up as we ‘Walk-the-World’. Funds raised in this initiative will be donated to WWF-Singapore's Earth Hour 2019. This is your chance to be part of the largest grassroots movement for the environment and also to support Informa's Sustainability ambitious. Donate now to help us reach our target to raise S$25,000 for WWF.
