Pengasih is an NGO formed in 1991 by four friends in recovery, whose mission was to provide treatment and prevention of Substance Use Disorder. Pengasih's services include a pioneer substance abuse and behavioural health residential treatment facility that adopts a culturally sensitive Therapeutic Community approach. By June 2020, Pengasih will have to relocate from its current facility in Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur to an ill-equipped Cinta Manis centre in Bentong, Pahang. Funds are desperately needed to build a surau for recoveries and for the local community, a multi-purpose hall to conduct daily key educational, social and recreational activities, and a permanent clinic with a built-in detox unit. Pengasih is appealing to you to support them in providing the above facilities to promote a healthy recovery for their clients.
