Personal Challenge

I'm doing 40 jobs for the Philippines! Please help me raise HK$7,000 to go on my school service trip.

My Story

Finlay (along with his Dad) is excited to be joining a service trip to the Philippines, a nation very close to Hong Kong but facing very different challenges. 25 million people in the Philippines are living in extreme poverty. Fin and his classmates at Crossroads' TLC will be working with a school for deaf children. He will be meeting and playing with the kids as well as helping to run some activities and learning about a culture and lifestyle quite different to his own. He has also helped prepare some donated goods from Crossroads that the Philippines school says will be useful: stationery and school supplies packed in fabulous backpacks for the kids!

Fin and his classmates have already hosted a High Tea Fundraiser, but each child is also raising money to cover their own costs. Finlay is doing a 40-job-jobathon for the cause! When you donate here through simplygiving, the funds go directly to Crossroads for this trip.

"I am trying to raise $7,000HKD (1151AUD) for the flights, accommodation and food for my Dad and me. Thank you for helping!"
(100HKD=$16AUD, 500HKD=$82AUD, approx.)
