My Story

I’m competing in Redline — with a purpose.For refugees. For my body. For something bigger.

The world feels like it’s unraveling — conflict after conflict. And behind every headline, there are millions of displaced families.Children are losing their homes, their classrooms, their childhoods.
So this year, I’m turning my training into action.

On July 26, I’ll be racing in Redline (Singles Intermediate category) to raise funds for @fugee_org — a school I’ve long supported, which gives refugee children in Malaysia the one thing every child deserves: access to education.
But this journey isn’t just about global change — it’s also about personal change.

I’m going through peri-menopause — a phase that’s challenged my energy, strength, sleep, and sense of control over my own body. It’s been humbling. Some days I feel like I’m starting over.But I’ve decided to stop shrinking. I’m taking my power back — with every rep, every run, every drop of sweat.
This race isn’t just a fitness goal. It’s a pledge — to do more than scroll, repost, or complain about the state of the world.It’s my way of turning frustration into forward motion.

And I hope it moves you in a similar way too.

You don’t need millions of followers to be an influencer.Influence is simply the courage to take a stand — and take others with you.

If I place in the Top 3, the prize money is going straight to the school.But whether I win or not, I’m running for something that matters.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing my training journey — unfiltered, sweaty, sore, hopeful. The ups and the downs.

Because transformation and change — whether it’s for your body, life or the world — takes guts and work.
