My Story

My name is Anne Curtis and I am UNICEF Philippines' Celebrity Advocate for Children. I am very much invested in health and fitness. I thought a benefit run that demonstrates health and wellness is a great way to raise resources to support children to have the best start in life! Proceeds from this run will help fund UNICEF’s 1,000 Days of Life campaign.

For those who can't make it to the run but would still like to support this special project of mine, this Simplygiving page is your chance to help out! Make a donation equivalent to the race registration fees and help support the critical first thousand days of the life of a child: from conception through pregnancy, to childbirth, and through to the child’s second year and beyond.

Here's how your donation can help:

  • P100 can help provide micronutrient supplements so 1 child can get the much-needed vitamins & minerals  
  • P650 can help provide life-saving therapeutic food to 2 severely malnourished children  
  • P750 can help provide 10 pregnant women in remote areas with prenatal and neonatal care services  
  • P950 can help make early learning fun for 16 young children by providing art materials and educational toys
