My Story

I arrived in the UK as an immigrant at a young age of 17 with a well funded scholarship, place in university and support of wide network of family and friends. I was fortunate that I was not escaping poverty, war, famine, persecution or extraordinary hardship. Many in this world don't have the same fortune or even choice.

Refugee Union is Hong Kong's only refugee led association that helps countless immigrants in their daily basic needs while they await their applications to be processed. Next month on 12th Feb 2023 I am running Hong Kong Standard Chartered Half Marathon to raise funds for Refugee Union. For every HK$50 you donate, I promise to add a song of your choice to my playlist (send me your worst :p). All funds will go directly to Refugee Union.
