My Story

Project Idea and Social Impact  
The project is basically focused on Gender Equality and the empowerment of women. We hope to raise awareness on gender-based discrimination and structural barriers hindering women’s leadership roles in economic activities in households, communities and labour markets in the local context. We would like to establish a charity fashion website, selling handmade products from Indian women, to empower them by hiring them for the production of the
handmade product. Handmade clothing and accessories are a part of Indian culture. We make sure everyone involved in our production processes are treated with regard and respect. We strongly believe in giving fair and deserving wages, designing a product that not only revives the livelihood of the farmer but ensures that the traditional Indian art of weaving continues to bloom. These products are not just beautiful but they also give a personal touch as they have been designed by craftsmen and not machines. We plan to pledge 10% of each sale to reward to the Indian women as a bonus as well. Through this project, we hope to prove that women could be strong and independent, earning the money on their own. We aim to train up them with a handmade skillset as well as leadership skillset.
