Hi! My name is Jef. An Authorized Face to Face Fundraiser of UNICEF. With the ECQ implemented by our government, I am unable to do what I love most - which is to engage with people and to lend my hand to help people in need. Di ko maatim gumising araw-araw na mabalitaan ang ating mga bayaning frontliners na nagkakasakit at namamatay dahil sa kakulangan ng PPEs. But now I am given the chance to fundraise for them. Since UNICEF is supporting for the DOH emergency response to help provide critical emergency supplies I am knocking your loving heart to raise funds to help our frontliners. #FightCOVID19

My Story

LABANAN COVID-19

UNICEF is supporting the DOH emergency response to help provide critical emergency supplies for the Health workers. In the Health Program of UNICEF, the following are the actions being taken to stop Covid 19.

1) Provision of material requirements to strengthen the emergency health system and protect health workers and other vulnerable people through the provision of PPE, testing kits, ventilators, hospital beds and other equipment, and tents to set-up additional triage facilities within hospitals.
2) Distribution of supplies for cleaning and disinfection, along with required PPE, and supported by necessary training, to hospitals and community-level health care facilities.
3) Intensifying infection prevention and control, and health, nutrition, and hygiene promotion, including consistent application of WASH practices, through development and dissemination of guidelines, information, education and communication materials,
4) Supporting government in ensuring continuity of provision of gender-responsive, essential health services, especially to the most vulnerable.
5) Installation of additional WASH facilities in hospitals and community-level health care facilities responding to increased number of COVID-19 cases.

For the EDUCATION continuity and SECURITY:

1) Continuity of learning and safety of schools and children 
2) Food relief and cash/voucher-based assistance
3) Alternative skills training for remote work and fintech

MULTI-SECTOR SUPPORT, INCLUDING LOGISTICS.


1) Support to sustaining multi-sectoral critical services, both in-kind and through cash- based interventions, including logistics and, camp management and coordination, hygiene interventions, water and sanitation, nutrition, and psychosocial interventions, business continuity planning, maintenance of telecommunications and other critical lifelines, utilities and non-health related sectoral expertise.
2) Logistics and transportation support for distribution of critical health supplies and equipment, especially to Visayas and Mindanao
