Love Hands are fundraising for Pusat Jagaan Rumah Charis

The National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) survey indicates that almost 30% of the country's elderly are abandoned or do not obtain financial assistance from their children. Some were sent to the old folks home unwilling, therefore they have no choice but to stay there. Some elderly may have difficulties to expressions their needs, desires, and preference. Listen to their interests, visit the old folks home weekly or monthly, play some game with them can improve the quality of life of the elder. Unfortunately at the moment, we are unable to help them physically, so we have decided to support them through fundraising to provide financial support. Please donate to RTC to help our activities. Any amount is welcome. A donation can change the lifestyle of the elderly. We raise funds together. Thank you!

My Story

We are a group of Diploma in Business Administration for tutorial group 4, Diploma in Banking and Finance for the tutorial group 1, and Diploma in Human Resource Management for the tutorial group 1, student from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC). We organized this fundraising event to help the elderly have a more comfortable accommodation environment when the world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic so that they can feel the warmth of the world every day. Therefore, we will start a charity project called ‘Love Hands’ to raise funds for the Relau Rumah Charis (RTC). All the donations will transfer directly to RTC through this platform.
