Indonesian Heart Foundation was inaugurated as Yayasan Jantung Indonesia Dewi Sartika on 4th October 1974. On November 1981, it changed its name to Yayasan Jantung Indonesia (Indonesian Heart Foundation) The Foundation is a member of the World Heart Federation and founding member of Asean Federation of Heart Foundations and Asia Pacific Heart Network.

- To provide medical/financial assistance for the needy who suffer from heart disease and require heart surgery
