Introduction:
On 24th March 2023, Uncle Khoo, a dedicated animal lover, lodged a police report against MBPJ dog catchers for alleged assault and fear for the welfare of his two dogs, Jie Jie and Baby.

However, Uncle Khoo was then charged with obstructing a public servant from discharging his duty, but he pleaded not guilty and claimed trial to the charge. A bail money of RM2000 was required.
Meanwhile, his dogs were caught by the local council dog catchers and were exposed to the risks of infections such as the deadly parvovirus or canine distemper virus during the process.

Eventually, Jie Jie and Baby were released back to Uncle Khoo, and they were immediately sent to a vet for check-up and monitoring.

Current Situation:
Unfortunately, the puppy, Baby, was tested positive for Canine Coronavirus, and both the mother dog and puppy were kept in quarantine while receiving treatment from the vet clinic. Later, Jie Jie and Baby started showing signs of coughing, and a distemper test was given, which showed that Jie Jie was positive for the virus. Both dogs were then transferred to another vet clinic that could board and treat distemper cases immediately.

The vet bills are accumulating while the dogs have not completed their treatments yet.

Additionally, there are a few more dogs under Uncle Khoo's care, and we also wish to ensure their welfare is sorted out. This means we also need financial support for vaccination, parasites preventive care & neutering, etc. Another amount of approximately RM3000 will be needed, depending on each of their health needs.

Fundraising Goal:
Our fundraising goal is to raise RM15,000 to help Uncle Khoo and his dogs cover their bail money and vet bills.

Breakdown of Expenses:
RM2000 (bail money), RM2000++ (from first vet), RM3010++ (from 2nd vet), RM3000++ (Uncle's other dogs welfare management)

Why Donate:
Uncle Khoo's dogs do not deserve to be in such a situation. They were happy, free, and healthy before they were caught and thereafter exposed to various risks.
