Global Peace Mission (GPM) is a non-governmental organization officially formed in 2001 in response to humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. But prior to the official formation, for more than two decades and under various names, GPM has provided emergency assistance to various communities in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Through generous donation from the public, GPM has been able to provide help to thousands of people in many communities around the world. Besides maintaining our own offices, GPM also works in partnership with local community-based organizations. The latter approach is not only cost-effective, but also instrumental in building the capacity of local people to help themselves.
