The Jane Goodall Institute Hong Kong

About Dr. Jane Goodall and the Jane Goodall Institute

Dr. Jane Goodall is a world-renowned ethologist, activist, and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, a global community conservation organization established in 1977. The institute's mission is to protect chimpanzees and inspire action to conserve the natural world we all share, improving the lives of people, animals, and the environment.

Through community-centered conservation and the innovative use of science and technology, JGI works closely with local communities around the world, inspiring hope through individual action and youth-led community programs such as Roots & Shoots, empowering young people to become compassionate conservation leaders in their own communities.
