The catastrophic Australian bushfires have impacted communities, families, individuals and the ecosystem.
Half a billion animals perished, thousands of homes lost, hundred and fifty fires still burning across the state, hundreds of people injured including firefighters working day and night, twenty people dead up to date and many stranded.
There has been lots of harrowing stories in recent weeks and many are going through severe and life-changing trauma. These wildfires are also threatening to wipe out an entire species of animals. Pictures and videos on social media show charred koalas receiving medical attention, bodies of dead animals lying on the ground and kangaroos desperately running from the blazes. Absolutely heartbreaking!!
