Springboard Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organization established in the Philippines since 2002 as a resource mobilizer, fund manager, technical adviser, and project management foundation set up to improve the lives of Filipino children by ensuring their rights are promoted, environment is healthy for them to thrive and their future is bright. Springboard Foundation is registered, licensed and accredited by different government regulatory bodies in the Philippines such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Social Welfare and Development, City Government of Parañaque, Bureau of Internal Revenues, and Philippine Council for NGO Certification as tax exempt status. Springboard Foundation provides funding for scholarships, construction of daycare centers, schools, computer laboratories, school resources, sport and music equipment, medical clinics, medical care, renovation of children’s hospital wards, essential nutrition programs, community bakeries, livelihood funds, family support services, psychological intervention programs, supports for homes for abused and abandoned children. In addition, Springboard also provides medical, basic needs for relief and rehabilitation projects for disaster victims. Springboard serves as a liaison between people and corporations who want to help Philippine children and numerous charity organizations that have programs to uplift the lives of these children. Also Springboards organizes and maximizes resources and efforts among its beneficiary organization as we learn and exchange best practices on the ground among its partner organization. Springboard consults in sustainable corporate social development strategies and raises its own funds through various activities, mainly in the local Philippine and expatriate community. The implementing partner organizations are chosen very carefully, by Springboard, those that shared our vision for children with an emphasis on sustainability and accountability. Springboard Foundation monitors the progress of projects through site visits, project management, consultancy and also retains financial and photographic reports after the implementation of the projects. Presently, we have partnered, helped, supported and collaborated with 60+ NGOs and POs, and serves 50,000 children and families annually.
