SUPPORT THE HARD-OF-HEARING COMMUNITY

Fidelity’s Hong Kong Mixed Rugby Team is raising money this year for the Corporate Sevens Deaf Rugby Programme, which aims to give the hard-of-hearing people the opportunities to interact with others, learn new skills and gain more confidence. Since its inauguration 9 years ago, the Deaf Rugby programme runs weekly training sessions for 50 youths, and an annual competition against a deaf team from Cambodia, trained by a full-time deaf coach. These players have joined the first World Deaf 7’s in Sydney last year and will join the next tournament in Argentina in 2020.
