ZOO NEGARA

Zoo Negara is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society, a non-governmental organization since 1963 and has matured into a well-known zoo all around the world. This non-governmental organization sustains itself primarily through the entrance gate collection and sponsorships from individuals, schools and organizations. 


Zoo Negara covers 110 acres of land and over the years has transformed itself into an open concept zoo with over 90% of its animals being kept in spacious exhibits with landscape befitting its nature. Zoo Negara welcomes your help to continue caring for our beloved animals, which consist of 3,482 specimens from 290 species.
