My Story

We are students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC), Kuala Lumpur and we are currently pursuing our Diploma in Information Technology, Year 1 Sem 3 Group 9. We are taking the Civic Consciousness and Volunteerism course thus we are raising funds for the needy from 5 February till 31 March 2021 and the theme of our project is “Building a roof for the ones in need”.

We have decided to choose this theme as we believe having a shelter means having a sense of safety and relief. A most important component in a shelter is having a roof, without a roof over your head, you are not protected from any form of disaster. We aspire to give that sense of relief and safety to the ones in need as our part of contribution to society. 

Thus, we, students from TARUC, Diploma in Information Technology, Year 1 Sem 3 Group 9 would like to reach out our hands to those that are in need by raising this fundraising for the sake of them. We hope through our fundraising we can raise awareness in society on the current situation of the ones in need so that we can unite and help raise funds for the ones in need.

We would like to invite members of the public to join us in this meaningful endeavour by contributing to our fundraising project. Funds raised will be channeled to the following organisations on an equal basis:
