APE Malaysia (Animal Projects & Environmental Education) is a social enterprise that runs conservation based projects focusing on wildlife welfare and habitat restoration. The project sites are located in Sabah Malaysia Borneo and people from all around the world can join and contribute to the projects to help in our conservation efforts. The habitat reforestation project aims to build wildlife corridors by reconnecting fragmented forest and preserve wildlife habitat that was disturbed by logging activities long time ago, while the wildlife welfare project supports the rehabilitation process of the the endangered Bornean Sun bears. APE Malaysia conservation projects support local communities in the the village of Sukau Lower Kinabatangan by providing them with an income and job opportunities.
