My Story
My journey into the wonderful world of furry friends began thanks to someone special, my wife. Since then, we have experienced the incredible joy and companionship that adopted animals bring – our two cats are constant reminders of that! We've also cherished caring for friends' dogs, deepening my appreciation for all animals.
This love for animals has inspired me to take on a significant challenge: I'm running 100 miles to raise vital funds for the SPCA Animal Shelter Foundation.
Why? Because I believe every animal deserves the same chance at safety, care, and love that my own pets enjoy. The SPCA works tirelessly every day to provide shelter, food, medical attention, and hope to countless animals who have nowhere else to turn. They are a lifeline for displaced and vulnerable pets in our community.
This run is more than just miles on the pavement; it's a way to put my passion into action. It's a way to show my own pets – and the person who introduced me to their unconditional love – how much they mean to me, by helping others just like them.
