My Story

I'm lacing up my shoes for the Standard Chartered Marathon in Hong Kong, but this run is about so much more than just finishing a race. I'm raising funds for the Zubin Foundation, a cause that's incredibly close to my heart and started by my sister-in-law. This foundation works tirelessly to fight discrimination and promote social justice, issues that I’ve seen affect so many in our community.My passion for this cause comes from personal experience. Being married to someone from an ethnic minority, I've witnessed firsthand the effects of racism and discrimination in our city. I've seen talented, kind people sidelined simply because of their background, and it breaks my heart. I believe that by standing up and working together, we can make a real difference.Every step I take in this marathon is a stand against injustice. With every mile, I’m running for a more inclusive society—a society where everyone has the chance to thrive, no matter who they are or where they come from. Your donation to the Zubin Foundation will support programs that provide education, empowerment, and real opportunities for those who need it most.I’m inviting you to join me on this journey.
