My Story
IDEAS is a non-profit think tank that promotes market-based solutions to public policy challenges. Being a research intern at IDEAS, I am given the opportunity to be involved in advocacies to address issues in Malaysia. We have been publishing and producing content in the form of working papers, Op-Ed, reports, books, media statements, conferences, videos and podcasts series (accessible on https://www.ideas.org.my). Our work and solutions are based on thorough analysis and quality research by our researchers. We hope to continue to be proactive in raising our voice for what is right and beneficial for Malaysia as well as for the Malaysians. However, as a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations and grants by individuals (like you!) and organisations to keep our operations running. Thus, your donation, helps us pay our researchers fairly, continue to support our projects (from education for all, video series, and conferences) and start new research projects
Every year, IDEAS commemorates Almarhum Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj's birthday and celebrates the anniversary of IDEAS’ establishment together. This year, our 11th Anniversary Celebration takes place from the 2nd to the 4th of February 2021.
Usually, we host a fundraising gala as part of the celebration. But with the ongoing pandemic, instead, we’re hosting a virtual fundraising and conference, "IDEAS Malaysia Outlook Conference 2021". And the conference is open to everyone for free! The conference will feature panellists of great local and international speakers. And each day will feature a different topic, discussing economic, political and social challenges for 2021.

Our work is independent of vested interests and partisan influences. Any amount of contribution is much appreciated, be it RM500 or RM10. So please donate and support us. Your generosity helps us continue putting out research and advocate for a better Malaysia, for everyone. Thank you.
