Lily Rogers is fundraising for Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand
I am required to complete 40 hours of volunteering at a place of my choice for my university degree. I have chosen to work with Thai elephant refuge as I have always been passionate about the protection of elephants especially from the tourist industry (e.g. elephant riding). They also have a sanctuary for other wildlife on the property. I will be doing some events to raise money in my hometown but for people who won't be able to attend these, or do not have the cash to pay upfront, you can give via this page and I would appreciate all the support I can get. With the money I raise, I will NOT be using this for my travel: It will only go towards the Wildlife Friends Foundation which fund Thai Elephant Refuge. Thank you so much for your support
My Story
I have always admired elephants especially since they were my Great Nana’s favourite animal. Being named after her, I can’t think of a better way to honour her memory by going to help rehabilitated these wonderful creatures.
As I currently only work with small, domestic animals in my career, I want to expand my veterinary knowledge and skills so I can think of no better way to start this than by working alongside these incredible mammals.
