The environment can live without us, but we cannot live without it. In order for us to keep on living in a clean and safe place, we should be accountable for our doing. However, up to this day we are experiencing a global crisis much more dangerous than this Covid19 pandemic. Everything boils down on how we take good care of our environment.

The future will either be green or not at all.

Most of the wastes from domestic, industrial or commercial products propagate our waters due to our negligence and irresponsibility. In the Philippines, we have poor micro and macro-waste management systems. If  only we take this seriously, we will have a cleaner and greener future.

So what can we do? Any small act of kindness can make a lasting difference. Let us preserve nature and its resources for the next generation. The future generations will have a great story to tell if we served as their role models in protecting the environment. We can start small-scale in our homes by doing waste segregation (remember the 5RS: reuse, reduce, recycle, refuse and repurpose). 

Not all heroes wear capes, you can be one too!
