My Story
Hye. My name is Athirah. I work for Greenpeace Malaysia. Greenpeace is an independent environmental non-government organization (NGO). Greenpeace's aim is to ensure the ability of the earth to nurture life in all its diversity.
Do you know that our earth is deteriorating? That is why I have to make sure people are aware of the current situation. Do you like it when you walk around or when chilling at the beach, you see plastic waste everywhere? I'm pretty sure, you don't like seeing plastic waste gets dumped everywhere right.
Do you know that one of the factors our environment and wildlife get destroyed is because of plastic? Our marine creatures such as the Green Turtle mistakenly eat Plastic waste because they mistake it for a Jelly Fish. This is because the earth is surrounded by plastic waste. That is why we need to stop the use of plastic in the first place. It is for the sake of our mother earth.
