I, am writing to you on behalf of Youth Need To Know Islam self-help, a small group with big heart that is working on a campaign of interacting and engaging troubled and problem Muslim youth in our community . Some of these youth are from broken families, involved in illegal gangs activities, committing petty crimes just to get money for drugs or intoxicants. We feel that these unfortunate youths should be reached out and supported. The best way that we think is to attract them to understand the values of Islamic moral codes and teachings. Giving them the opportunity to see that we care for their well-being. The group is dedicated to the process of making that happen but we need your help. Your donation will bring us closer to our goal of $7500. We started small with funds mostly provided by me, as much as I could, that has helped me change some youth’s course of lives. Now, these youth want to help change other youth life by expanding this mission. We are clearly excited and eager to see this project succeed. Getting to know their educational, religion and family backgrounds, their leisure activities and their ambition in life. Accessing their knowledge about Islam and finding out if they have committed any acts that are against the teaching of Islam eg:- visiting discos and consuming alcoholic drinks, gambling or intimate premarital relationship. Single out troubled youths that are from broken families, or involved with anti-social groups or gangs. Invite them to join Islamic social activities conducted by the group. Motivate them by teaching them the content of the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (saw) Giving them the assistance to change their cause of life. Meeting with parents that are having difficulties in handling their youths Attending group Islamic lectures and other Islamic related activities. Emphasizing to them that Islam is the true religion of submission to Allah's will with sincerity and in peace. Emphasizing to them that Islam is not a "terrorist" religion.
