My Story

THE STORY: This team of mismatches were flung together nine months ago, forced to fight amongst themselves for a hierarchal role in their new Asian society. Arguments occurred and problems escalated however under the appointed leader, Mr Niall, peaceful terms were adhered to by all parties. Mr. Niall then began to dictate new laws and work ethics, of which the other three begrudgingly obeyed. This involved being made to consume copious amounts of a mind altering liquid, travel to extreme locations with limited funding and even engage with foreign counterparts way above our pay grade. However, the overconfidence of this “chosen one” knew no bounds, and once he ordered the three lackeys to climb the highest Mountain in South East Asia, they rebelled. Mr. Niall, the tactical genius he is, knew that he had but two options: Fight back against the odds and likely succumb to defeat, or introduce a peace treaty. He agreed to climb the Mountain with the trio, as their leader, and ensure the safe return of each individual. Who could imagine what ideas the others had for accepting such a deal? So here we are, four individuals with limited climbing experience and a severe lacking in fitness attempting to reach the peak of Mount Kinabalu for a charitable cause.
