The KL Lighthouse Club is a social and fundraising Construction Industry Club with associations in Europe and Asia Pacific. We are a non-profit Charity focused on fellowship in construction and benevolent funds for to provide financial assistance to victims of accidents or illness in the construction industry. The original Lighthouse Club was formed in 1956 by Edward Ward and his associates to continue the goodwill and co-operation enjoyed during a construction exhibition in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. The Club has established itself as one of the best supported Construction Industry Associations around the world with over 8000 members, with 20 branches in UK and 8 overseas clubs. Overseas clubs are active in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Hanoi, South Africa and Holland with new clubs planned in China and Indonesia.
