About Appeal

Fundraising for food aid for Burmese refugees living in various locations in Ipoh, who are heavily affected by the MCO. 

We are in touch with 5 groups of refugees, all of them unemployed since the start of MCO, some over 6 months.
  • Jubilee Park 11 pax (8 males, 3 females)
  • Menglembu 18 pax (15 males, 3 females)
  • Ipoh Garden South 13 pax (8 males, 5 females)
  • Jalan Che Tak, Jubilee Park 14 pax (10 males, 4 females)
  • Bandar Sri Pengkalan 30 pax (29 adults, 1 baby)
Our funding target is now RM6000, which should suffice for supporting these 5 groups till 20 Apr 2020.

If the total fund exceeds RM6000, we will:
  • Provide continuous support for these communities beyond the MCO.
  • Support another refugee community in need.
During this period, we will be praying with them over the phone. Once the MCO is lifted, we will find an appropriate time for all of us to visit them and to take the opportunity to share the gospel!
