Fundraising for food aid for a community of Burmese refugees living at Jubilee Park, Ipoh, who are heavily affected by the MCO. They have 31 people living in close proximity. Aged 20-40. 29 males, 2 females. Some of them have been unemployed for over 6 months.
On 1 Apr, this group received aid from the Adun of Pasir Pinji http://dlvr.it/RSypWr. However, they are still in need of continuous support. Right now, they are still lacking fresh foodstuff and essential daily items.
We are now putting together a list of essentials and will likely disburse the aid in 2 batches over the first two weeks of April via a grocery delivery operator. The targeted amount is RM2000. This should work out to an allocation of RM4.60/pax per day over two weeks.
