Yayasan Amal Maaedicare or Maaedicare Charitable Foundation is a non-profit medical NGO advocating early prevention for kidney and heart
diseases, and provides highly-subsidised, quality treatment to the financially-challenged patients in Malaysia.
The MAA Medicare Kidney Charity Fund kicked off in 1994 and got a makeover in 2014, rebranding itself as the MAA Medicare Charitable Foundation (or simply, The Foundation). Since 2022, we are known as Maaedicare Charitable Foundation or Yayasan Amal Maaedicare (YAM). We are the 2nd biggest non-profit dialysis provider in Malaysia, offering wallet-friendly treatments at 11 dialysis centers across the country. In September 2018, the Foundation opened Malaysia’s first heart charity hub, the Maaedicare Cardiac Diagnostic Centre in Jalan Ipoh. This centre dishes out top-notch care, covering a range of cardiac and vascular services with some financial help. In 2022, we launched Klinik Amal Percuma to make healthcare more accessible for the underserved community.
Since the Foundation's inception 30 years ago, we have assisted 22,000 patients with subsidised dialysis, free screenings and free healthcare through our 11 Maaedicare Charity Dialysis Centres, Maaedicare Cardiac Diagnostic Centre and 2 Klinik Amal Percuma Maaedicare. We have also assisted 1,323 students of our underprivileged dialysis patients through our annual Kids@Maaedicare Back to School program.
Your generous donations will make a significant impact on the lives of underprivileged patients, especially those battling kidney and other health issues, providing them with a pathway to better health and well-being.
PLEASE DONATE AND SUPPORT IN OUR MISSION TO MAKE HEALTHCARE ACCESSIBLE TO ALL.
